General Health Checkups
We provide blood pressure, guocse and a range of blood tests which allow you to get a measure of your general health.

High blood pressure is serious, especially if left untreated. If ignored it can lead to heart and circulatory diseases like a heart attack and stroke as well as problems with your sight and vascular dementia. Early detection is important to prevent permanent damage to your blood vessels and organs. Getting your blood pressure checked can allow you to determine whether you should make any lifestyle changes e.g. reducing salt and alcohol intake, exercising, and eating a balanced diet. If you are 40 or over we provide blood pressure checks free on the NHS, with a record being sent to your GP. This may also be applicable in certain other cases, for example if you have been asked to have a check by your GP or you have a family history of heart problems.

Blood Pressure
High blood pressure, or hypertension, means your heart has to work harder to pump blood around the body. We calculate your average blood pressure using three readings.
Diabetes
Diabetes is a leading cause of ill health, particularly if not well-controlled. Type 2 diabetes is normally associated with family risk and diet. We provide on the spot glucose level test and the longer-term glucose control HBA1C.
Blood tests
We provide a comprehensiveprivate blood testing service for all your health concerns as well as occupational and medication monitoring needs.
Our trained phlebotomists and pharmacists can help you determine what you need. If there is a test not listed that you would like, please ask as we may be able to provide it for you.
